A man rides his horse through flames during the Luminarias annual religious celebration in the village of San Bartolome de los Pinares, Spain, the night before Saint Anthony’s Day. According to tradition that dates back 500 years, people ride their horses through the narrow cobblestone streets of the small village to purify their animals with the smoke of the bonfires. I really like this picture because of how the firelight casts a shadow on the man.

It provides the viewer a glimpse into the simple, yet beautiful world of a tadpole. Source: Eiko Jones/National Geographic
Poster: Matthew This is a super trippy picture that is so gorgeous at the same time. It's hard to believe it's simple architecture, it's almost like a forgotten art. The black and white filter ads so much depth and makes this photo noteworthy.

Source: Josh Levs / CNN Normally, I wouldn't post a picture like this but I saw this and started thinking. That little kid is going to spend his entire life in the public eye, all those people back there aren't even from the media, they are normal people with an intense interest in this one little kid. Not even a day old and he's already an obsession to millions. How creepy is that?
Source: NBC Poster: Megan Everything stops, at least for a moment. The focus is geared towards not only the subject in the middle, but also the elements that shape it: the mesmerizing reflection that prevents one from looking at just one part of the image and the details that give it texture. As out-standing as it is, the leaf represents a few of the many angles that can be used to capture a photo Poster: Danish
